Idaho Accelerator Center

The Idaho Accelerator Center is a department of Idaho State University and is involved in research and development of nuclear physics applications for commercial and security uses. The IAC has three sites in Pocatello, Idaho; one of which is immediately adjacent to Positron's Testing Service Center.

The IAC has extensive capabilities that include technology linked to both Induced Positron Analysis (IPA) and Photon-Laser Analysis (PLA).

Positron negotiated a 'work for others' program which gives us access to the people and technical resources of the IAC to assist in proving applications, finding new applications and the refinement of current testing and analysis procedures. This provides a joint benefit and results in Positron's access to some of the foremost academic research and investigative scientists in nuclear technology.

Idaho National Laboratory

The United States Department of Energy's Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is the birthplace of our Induced Positron Analysis (IPA) technology and it is the current holder of all patents pertaining to the inventions, concepts and processes that relate to IPA. INL is a strategic partner and provides Positron access to outstanding resources.

Positron holds and administers our worldwide exclusive licenses from INL. Additionally, we benefit when INL identifies and develops follow-on techniques and patents. The license is granted under INL's Technology Transfer and Commercialization Program. This provides a joint benefit and results in Positron's access to some of the foremost research scientists in nuclear technology in the World

Idaho State University

Positron has a close relationship with the Idaho State University (ISU) Department of Physics. Under this agreement, we have access to some of the foremost academic researchers on linear accelerator technology and their technical know-how and validation techniques.

Positron's Testing Service Center is located close to the ISU's accelerator center which provides a solid forum for knowledge transfer. It also provides access to graduate students to investigate and finalize valid applications of our technology.

ISU's top nuclear physicists are available to us for research, trouble shooting and complex analysis. The unique software developed for Positron's analysis was developed by ISU physicists and is available to us on a worldwide, exclusive license.

ISU's physicists and graduate students are developing additional intellectual property that Positron will license and commercialize.
